I'm big on knowing the meaning of words. So, to bring clear meaning to the name of this ministry, I thought it best to share with you the definitions of the words: Damaged & Trophy
Damaged: injury or harm that reduces value or usefulness (Dictionary.com)
Trophy: Anything taken from an enemy and preserved as a memorial of victory. Every redeemed soul is a trophy of grace. (Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary)
The good news is that though many of us, at one point in our lives, felt that our value was reduced and rendered useless, our God, our Daddy- God, knew what dysfunctions would come about from sin and man's will. He sent his son to pay the price for sin and to open the door for us to come to Him, so that we could boldly approach His Throne of Grace. (Hebrews 4:16)
Allow me to paraphrase: so that we may stand confident in who we are in Him and be that predestined and of great value being for His purpose- for His Kingdom; to be that Trophy for God's Glory.
He's the one that paid the price and defeated the enemy! He has made us of great value, worth and useful for his purpose.
